January Temple Trip 2026-01-04

Hello everyone!

So, upcoming dates: the 24th is a youth baptism trip! I might wish it was before school, that starts on the 12th, but seminary this Monday, but I think that it is actually better that is during it. It might give me a chance to relax and have some fun. On the 18 is a youth activity a 4:30. All youth are invited to the Walk with Christ activity, which focuses on this year’s theme and scripture stories. I am in one of them. The Story of Mary and Martha. I have the role of Mary and Hannah Howard has Martha. She is one of our ward’s Bishops’ daughters. Speaking of Bishops, any info about how to go and prepare and what I could study for a mission would be appreciated if you need anything to do in your spare time. If not, keep an eye out. And most exciting, there is an Ice Skating for all Youth on the 30th!! I can’t wait to get on that Ice, and I need to renew my Temple recommend in February. Not much to you, but it has been on my mind.

Today I read Abraham chapter 1, or most of it. Man! What a hooking chapter! It was actually entertaining for once, which was really refreshing and invigorating. If you think the scriptures are boring, read the first bit of that! Oh, I also went sliding with the kids, and once the snow is packed in and hard, you can actually go fairly fast. After the first try or two, though, it feels pretty slow. But yes, that was fun to do. Did you see the full moon? Yesterday it was huge! I wish I could have seen it more.
