Samosas and Space 2026-01-25

Tonight, Gywn cooked a new kind of food! Samosas from the Mughal Empire. I enjoyed them, though I would like to find a special and specifically intended sauce for them that has some pep. We have plenty of them left. I wonder how they will taste after a night of sitting in the refrigerator, rather than right out of the oven.

Did you know that black holes can sing? It is considered to be a scary sound. I have listened to a recording of one, and I absolutely enjoyed hearing it. I wish the recording were longer. So what we hear is the vibrations that the black holes create, generating sound waves in the surrounding gas. These sound waves are translated into audible frequencies by scientists, allowing us humans to hear the “Song” after being scaled up to a frequency that of human hearing. Also, some of our planets have their own sounds too. Mars Jupiter Saturn, and Neptune come to mind. There might be more, but definitely Saturn and Neptune.
