Moon sun and stars 2026-01-25

It is really cold here, but there is not much snow, so it’s not a lot of fun. We have been doing a family movie night every week, which has been a lot of fun. To make it even better, we’ve picked movies we haven’t seen before or ones we haven’t watched in a really long time. Arywen has been getting us to try new foods — like mincemeat pie and samosas — which makes cooking and eating more exciting. We also have sourdough bread starters, and I can’t wait to see how the bread turns out. We’ve been making sprouts and finally found one we like, which is great for making salads. Last Saturday, Arywen and I went with the youth group to the temple with the bishop. It was a lot of fun. We went to Cardston, which is in Canada. We visited the temple, had lunch, and decided to go to the bookstore in Cardston. All the prices where in Canada dollars, so it feels like everything is cheaper. It is not hard to go to Canada or to get back into the States, and it is a lot of fun to see a different culture for a little while.
