Hello Friends and Family,
I’m sorry that it has been so long since I last wrote.
We have been sick some and life has gotten the better of me.
Yet there have been many happy moments. I have really enjoyed using my new camera to catch some of them. The pictures in the post cover not quite a month. They start off with some pictures of some hoarfrost that we got this year. It’s a heavy frost that only comes when the humidity is high and it is very cold.
It only came once this year and only lasted a few days. It’s like the whole forest grew stubble. It covers everything with 1/4 to 1/2 in ice crystals that. I jut love it. The whole world takes on a different texture and I just wonder in awe at it. Jordan and I took a walk together and we got some really good pictures of it. It covers everything from treetop to forest floor.
Gwyn has been doing more art this last little while. I got a picture of her working on some of her drawings. Then a few more in and I have some pictures of her art work. She is really good and I look forward to seeing more of what she is capable of.
Liliwen is almost but not quite crawling. She can roll and move backwards so the next step is maybe the army crawl or outright the real thing. She has been such a joy in our lives.
We sorted all the kids toys a about a week ago and the pattern blocks came out of a box to be played with. All of the kids have loved making big patterns with them. And Eomaer and Merideth come up with a really good one. Some of me has thought about getting some more for them.
There are a set of pictures of Ronia and Liliwen both taking naps on the same day. It was my big achievement to have them both down for a nap at the same time. Lots of mommy love and nursing…
Arywen and Liliwen both have really dark eyes. It was a fun picture to take of them together because Arywen was trying out her contacts. Look mom no glasses …
The kids had a blast covering the house in hearts for Valentines Day. Two weeks latter they are still mostly up and they bring me joy just looking at them.
Dad got to come up for a few days to bring some firewood. It is a big blessing. Eomaer and Merideth loved 4-wheeler rides with Grandpa and doing the trip into town to take care of off-grid living. i.e. a garbage run and filling up on lots of propane. Door Dash Grandpa did a great job yet again.
There is a lot of other pictures of the kids. One of which is Ronia with something that her brother built out of connects. They love those toy connects. They are not my favorite but I dont think Eomaer would know what to do with himself if he did not have them around to play with.
Well, this post is a little different I know more of just commentary on the pictures. I hope you wont mind too much and next time I hope to be up for more.
Until next time,
Cheers,
Love Heather
