Arywen Update 2025-12-02

Hi Everyone!

So it’s December with plenty of snow and cold to go around. But fortunately, I only have till this Friday, and then I will be on Christmas break from LatterUp for basically a whole month! Fantastic. But I still have seminary till the 19th.

But also very exciting (well, for Gywn and me at least, even though my dad and I have to wake up like around 4:30 am to be at the bishop’s house at 6:00 am) is that this Saturday is a temple trip! We are going to Cardston Temple again, and I think I will enjoy the drive immensely since I will not have a single school book for my classes, that I must read so I can read books by David Weber, catch up on my scripture reading, and whatever I want to read!! Which, if you know me at all, is a major and well-supplied subject of mine.

Today I practiced memorizing the 13 Articles of Faith, which was good and fun. I especially like Articles of Faith 11 and 10. I also memorized a song from Heather Dale titled “Come and Be Welcome,” which has an easy tune full of lightheartedness and welcome.

Oh, and this Sunday I am saying the closing prayer in sacrament meeting. We will see how that goes! It will be my first time.
