The Start Of Our Trip 2024-01-28

We have decided to travel again — now that COVID is past, and Ronia has grown some. We had hoped to make it international travel, and were looking at Costa Rica, but found that the cost, plus our limited Spanish ruled it out for now.

So instead we plan to visit family and friends we made on our last trip and spend a month or so on the beach.

We got everything packed over the last week, and today was our departure date. Getting the trailer out of our mountain fastness was more excitement than I’d care to repeat. If we have to do that again during the winter I’m going to get chains on the trailer as well as the car.

Today we got as far as Heather’s parents place in Rigby, ID.
